Description
Freedom Trains is a painting created on a blank canvas. I use many layers to create these paintings. First applying colors to the canvas with my airbrush tool. Then applying lighting effects and distortions, in particular for this one I used tile and then applied whirlpool, ripple, thin, multiplication tools until I came up with this look. These are abstract trains in my view. Coming down the tracks picking up people that want to a part of the Heavenly Kingdom I can hear the sounding of the horn. It is free to get on board these trains. I also like the look of the trains and the glass like appearance reminds me of a custom stained glass.
Do you remember the song? It says "people get ready cause there's are train that's coming," or the song by Cat Stevens, Peace Train? I kept hearing the two songs, while I worked on this painting. I hope you like them, and I hope you will remember to get your free ticket on the Freedom Trains. Let me know what you see?
2 Timothy 1:7
Freedom from fear.
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
When We Practice Real Love
18-20My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.
1 John 3 21-24 And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God! We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him. Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. And this is how we experience his deep and abiding presence in us: by the Spirit he gave us.
